Niamh O’Shaughnessy is a Partner in Financial Services Assurance focusing on Insurance clients.
Niamh joined EY in 2005 has more than 20 years’ experience at EY working across our financial services sectors providing services to our largest global clients. Niamh primarily leads large teams to deliver financial statement audits and other assurance engagements working with EY offices globally to ensure excellent client service.
She is responsible for working with a number of large multinational companies providing assurance services across the Life, Non Life and Reinsurance sectors. Niamh has experience in IFRS, Irish and US GAAP reporting.
Niamh has supported clients through implementation of reporting standards, acquisitions and periods of economic uncertainty along with extensive experience in providing other assurance non-audit services based on client or regulatory requirements.
Niamh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a first class honours Business Studies Degree from Dublin City University (DCU). Niamh is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
